First Scarlett, now this.
It seems that the participants on Channel 4’s Gogglebox are no longer satisfied with being on television watching television – they want to be on television for real…so others can be in television watching them on television.
The programme is fast becoming a springboard for other careers, after Scarlett Moffatt took part in I’m A Celebrity, and Andrew Michael of the Michael Family entered politics with UK Independence Party.
And now another Goggleboxer is taking a stab at celebrity.
Last Friday, Gogglebox viewers were left confused when they didn’t see Sandi Bogle sitting in her usual sofa spot next to Sandra, and were instead greeted by Sandra’s daughter, Chancez.

The pair were one of the show’s biggest draws, for their unique observations on life, obvious friendship and of course, their love of takeaways.
But according to Cosmopolitan, it looks as if the days of Sandi and Sandra are no more, as Sandi has left the show for good.
Reportedly, Sandi has departed to pursue a singing career, and make it big in the music industry.
A Gogglebox spokesperson confirmed the news.
“Sandi has decided to leave the show to pursue her singing career and other opportunities, and we wish her all the very best.”
Good luck to her – perhaps she’ll make it and we’ll tune to watch other Goggleboxers watching her on box on Gogglebox.
