One of the best TV shows from last year is coming to Netflix.
There’s plenty of new titles for TV and film fans to get stuck into over the coming weeks, so without further adieu, here’s what’s coming to Netflix in the next few weeks.
The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story
Plot: Simply put, this was one of the best TV shows from 2016. It currently has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and we can’t recommend it highly enough. In case you haven’t heard about it, the series provides a behind-the-scenes retelling of the O.J. Simpson case. It’s stunning.

Riverdale
Plot: Archie comics finally comes to life in this subversive take on the classic character and his friends, exploring small town life, the darkness and weirdness bubbling beneath Riverdale’s wholesome facade.
The Fear of 13
Plot: A documentary which sees a convicted murderer who has spent 23 years on Death Row tell his story. FYI, this has a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Theory of Everything
Plot: Oscar winning drama that tells the extraordinary story of one of the world’s greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge student Jane Wilde.
Santa Clarita Diet
Plot: Sheila (Drew Barrymore) and Joel (Timothy Olyphant), a married couple, are real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. When Sheila dies, their lives take a dark turn.

Warrior
Plot: It’s returning to Netflix and it’s 100% worth another watch. The youngest son of an alcoholic former boxer returns home, where he’s trained by his father for competition in a mixed martial arts tournament – a path that puts the fighter on a collision course with his estranged, older brother.
Ultimate Beastmaster
Plot: Imagine an updated version of Gladiators that’s created by Sylvester Stallone. Touted as the first international competition show of its kind, the show will feature six country-specific versions, with local languages, competitors and hosts from each country: the U.S., Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, Germany and Japan.
The series will feature 108 competitors, 18 from each country, with each hourlong episode featuring 12 contestants — two from each locale. The athletes will run a demanding new obstacle course known as “The Beast,” and each episode will crown a “Beastmaster”.

Plot: Wes Anderson’s take on the Roald Dahl classic about an urbane fox that cannot resist returning to his farm raiding ways.
Aquarius
Plot: David Duchovny stars in this gritty 1960s cop drama about LAPD detective Sam Hodiak and his trainee, who must deal with gangs, brutal crimes, changing times, family crises and unhinged manipulative small-time crook Charles Manson, who’s slowly building his cult.
Girlfriend’s Day
Plot: In a city where greeting card writers are celebrated like movie stars, Romance writer Ray used to be the king. In trying to recapture the feelings that once made him the greatest, he gets entangled in a web of murder and deceit as writers vie to create the perfect card for a new holiday: Girlfriend’s Day.
Tickling Giants
Plot: The Arab Spring in Egypt: From a dictator to free elections, back to a dictatorship. One comedy show united the country and tested the limits of free press. This is the story of Bassem Youssef, a cardiologist turned comedian, the Jon Stewart of Egypt, and his show “The Show”.
