Samsung unveiled the Galaxy 6 Edge+ and Samsung Note 5 on Thursday and the internet is buzzing with reviews and opinions on the new smartphones.
The Galaxy 6 Edge+ is an update on the Galaxy 6 and is thinner, faster and flashier than its predecessor boasting a width of just 7mm.
The phone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 and has a massive 4GB of RAM.
As for its design, it has the first dual edge display with a 5.1 Quad HD screen giving clearer imagery and more of an in-depth picture. The camera itself is also improved – you’re now able to create faster and clearer photos with its F1.9 aperture.
For those not as tech savvy, you’ll be delighted to know that it charges faster than the Galaxy 6 – 1.5 times faster to be precise. That should come in handy if you’re in a rush.
There are also a few new quirky features such as finger print passwords and colour coded contacts so you know who is calling you at a glance.
The Edge+ is designed for people who want a phablet-sized device with a screen size of 5.7 inches.
The Note 5 was also unveiled yesterday, although there are no plans to bring this device to Europe any time soon. It has the same size screen, 5.7 inches, and a cool feature of the phone is that the cover also acts as a keypad.
As well as releasing these two devices to the world, Samsung have also introduced Samsung Pay so users can make transactions with their handsets.
It is first being introduced in South Korea, moving on to the US at the end of September and eventually the UK and Spain.
The new phone is on sale on August 21.
