Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas have been forced to add extra security and rethink the staging of a model of singer Nicki Minaj – because the public were acting in an inappropriate manner around it.
The waxwork is based around Minaj’s Anaconda video, in which she poses on her hands and knees wearing what looks like a fancy swimming costume.
But Madame Tussauds Las Vegas have received notice of lewd behaviour around the figure, which was reported to be of an overtly sexual and degrading nature.
The management have released a statement on Twitter, in which they explain that they have ‘been made aware of the inappropriate photograph’ and that they feel ‘it is unfortunate that this visitor decided to behave so inappropriately’.
They apologise for any offence caused and explain that they are taking ‘immediate steps to ensure more staff are present’, and redesigning the set for the Minaj figure so that ‘a picture like this cannot be taken again’…

It is suspected that this is the photograph that was quite understandably seen as taking things too far…
Although it’s not the only example of visitors posing around the waxwork in a provocative manner…
