It was all a bit tense as the game at the King Power between Leicester and Sevilla approached its final 15 minutes.
The home side were two up on the night – 3-2 on aggregate – but there was a sense that the final minutes of the game would be backs to the wall defending for Claudio Ranieri’s Craig Shakespeare’s men.
Then, out of nowhere, a yell went up from the crowd.
Sevilla’s Samir Nasri, already with a yellow card to his name, appeared to have head butted Jamie Vardy, who was sent staggering backwards by the incident.
Replays showed that Nasri did indeed react to a shove from Vardy by squaring up to the England striker. His reaction though was a bit… exaggerated.
Still, both players were given yellows for the incident, meaning Nasri was off for an early bath. Leicester would play out the remaining minutes of the game with a one man advantage.
Head loss for Samir Nasri as he has to be restrained after his sending off…😡 #UCL https://t.co/xfS2eNk7Y0

Although Sevilla would go on to win a penalty, Kasper Schmeichel’s save to deny Stephen N’Zonzi ensured that Leicester progressed to the quarter finals.
