A huge brawl broke out at a shared practice between the Dallas Cowboys and the St Louis Rams ahead of the new NFL season.
The fight involved nearly every player on both sides and things got out of hand very quickly as the melee almost spilled over into the crowd.

Of course, just because you’re talking to your team’s owner doesn’t mean you shouldn’t get involved – as Dallas Cowboys star player Dez Bryant showed:

For his troubles, Bryant took a pretty mean shot to face.

In the midst of it all, Bryant lost a diamond earring which was somehow found by a member of staff after the players left the field.

In fairness, there were some pretty obvious signs that this might happen. As a coach you need to look out for clues like players hitting tackles a little too hard or arguments getting a little heated between plays.
But sometimes it’s something even more subtle than that, like the fact that there had already been two fights earlier on in the practice…
Third fight with Rams and Cowboys and this is very very very ugly. Not good. Time to call it off.

Unfortunately the two teams aren’t set to meet in the regular season, but we’re hoping for a heated rematch in the playoffs.
