This must exactly be exactly how Christopher Columbus felt when he discovering America (and thought it was India), or when Sir Isaac Newton first discovered apples (did he discover apples? We skipped some history lessons tbf…)
Anyway, the point is that we’ve only just discovered this and it’s amazing. It’s the best thing since sliced bread! Better in fact – sliced bread isn’t really that great a thing – why is it used as a comparison for amazing things happening?
We all love a Ferrero Rocher (apart from those of us with nut allergies) – they are proven to be the poshest chocolates about, alongside Viscounts and After Eights of course. Indeed they truly make you feel like you’re at an ambassadors’ ball.
But did you know they have more industrial uses too? Were you aware that they’re not only nutty and delicious, but also a engineering feat of magnificent excellent? Because – as we’ve just discovered – when in the box, they’re essentially gears!
That’s right – as the video clip shows below, the concertina’d edges of the paper wrappers work as grinding gears that lock together perfectly in the package – resulting a motorised motion!
