BREAKING NEWS
Everyone is desperate to know about what the future holds for Arsene Wenger and Arsenal. Will he stay or will he go now? It’s a decision that will have huge ramifications to both the North London giants and beyond, so everyone is understandably waiting with baited breath.
Wenger himself has not helped with his coquettish half-references and mischievous clues. It’s almost as if he’s enjoying the game of cat and mouse. And in fairness, he did suggest we’d know more in the month of March, which is nearly at an end. We’re all desperate for the breaking news – and no one does breaking news quite like Sky Sports.
Alas Thursday morning’s update was underwhelming to say the least. SSN’s twitter account went for the dramatic ‘BREAKING’ description to provide the update that there was no update, and no announcement would be made by the club imminently…

Unsurprisingly, this led to not a little pisstakery online at the dramatic non-event. Although we suppose we’ve not helped the situation by reporting on a news story that’s not a news story and making that non-news story into a news story. But the replies tickled us anyway…
