Riot police were seen clashing with Bayern Munich supporters during the Champions League quarter final second leg against Real Madrid on Tuesday night.
The footage below, which appears to have been captured during half-time, shows several of the police using batons on the supporters who are situated in one of the Bernabeu’s upper tiers.

It’s unclear what triggered such a strong reaction from the police, but there’s clearly something unpleasant about watching some of these supporters appearing to be struck while unable to move away.

The incident comes less than a week after Leicester supporters clashed with police in the Spanish capital ahead of their first leg meeting with Atletico Madrid.
