Yes to this.
The fourth season was not without its flaws – some would argue that the third season wasn’t either – but there’s still a lot of love out there for Arrested Development and with good reason too.
The portrayal of the wildly dysfunctional Bluth family is up there with the best comedy shows made since the turn of the Millennium and four years after the fourth season aired on Netflix, it looks as if the wheel is finally beginning to turn on season five.
About time too, we were getting worried there for a while.
On Friday night, Jason Bateman (Michael Bluth, probably the most normal member of the Bluth family) confirmed that he had officially signed on to do more Arrested Development.
Look very probable I'm going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer. Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today.

He also hinted that he would be starting work on the new season as early as this summer, a new season which, according to A.V. Club, could be “at least part prequel” and could give us an insight into what the good life was like for the Bluths before everything went downhill fast.
Good enough news to break out the chicken dance? We think so…
