Liam Gallagher’s first solo show will be a benefit gig for the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack.
The former Oasis and Beady Eye frontman will play at Manchester’s O2 Ritz on Tuesday May 30. Tickets sold out shortly after the show was announced.
Gallagher also announced a mini-tour, with dates at London’s Electric Ballroom, Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and Glasgow Barrowlands on the slate.
All of the profits from the Manchester gig will go to the Manchester Evening News/British Red Cross fundraising campaign, which has now raised over £1.6 million for victims and victim’s families.

In addition to this, Radio X DJ Chris Moyles said that he has heard some of Gallagher’s new solo music, commenting, “It’s really, really good. Really good.”
“They played us two tracks, both different to each other, but both brilliant,” Moyles said on his breakfast show.
“His voice on it is brilliant, the sound is brilliant, the production is brilliant. It’s brilliant.”
Apparently it’s brilliant.
