West Ham really need to shake things up after a disappointing season.
After moving into their new stadium, things didn’t really go too well for them.
There was that saga during which Dimitri Payet decided to leave the club and, ultimately, a campaign that had so much promise ended up being one to forget.
The Hammers finished 11th, a drop off from their seventh place finish a season prior.
They struggled to find the net with their strikers Andy Carroll and Diafra Sakho picking up significant injuries throughout the course of the season but according to Sky Sports, they are prepared to table a bid for Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.
The Nigerian is reportedly not part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and the club will look for £20m for the 20-year-old.
Even with limited appearances for the Citizens, primarily off the bench, Iheanacho has impressed by scoring nine goals this season.
If the move is to materialise he will reunite with Pablo Zabaleta, who will officially sign with West Ham on 1 July upon the expiration of his contract with Manchester City.
