Usain Bolt shakes the hand of the cameraman that ‘tried to kill him’

Fresh from claiming World Championship gold in the 200m, Usain Bolt’s celebrations were literally brought crashing down in Beijing this week.

In one of the most bizarre things you’ll see at a sports event, Segway riding cameraman, Song Tao, mows the Jamaican down after colliding with a rail.

Fortunately, Usain Bolt bears no grudges and sees the funny side of it all. The pair were seen shaking hands before Bolt received his medal and Song was even seen giving the sprinter a good luck charm.

Bolt even joked that his rival, Justin Gatlin, might have paid Song to mow him down.

“He tried to kill me! I don’t know what he was going on. It was like: ‘You are winning too much – take him out!’”
