What drama.
If the producers of ITV2’s must-watch Love Island were hoping to maximise interest and excitement for viewers, whilst sending the contestants on an emotional rollercoaster, mission accomplished.
In case you missed it, Dom was sent home from the villa after Montana failed to couple up with him. She instead chose Alex Beattie over her (platonic) partner, and the Dom-inator is no more.
Dom, if you 'love' Jess then why the fuck didn't you leave a week ago? 🤔 #Loveisland #gameplayer @LoveIsland

Not that he seemed particularly gutted. Indeed he claimed to be chuffed to bits that he was going home so that he could finally be reunited with his one true love Jess. Although a slight situation with Mike may complicate things.
Anywho, it was clear what the viewing public wanted – A SPIN OFF! Or at the very least some serious coverage of how the Dom/Jess story plays out. Which will no doubt be music to their respective publicists’ ears.
I wish the show continued and we could follow Dom and see what happens with Jess #loveisland
