It’s quite clear there are no bounds when it comes to the ambitions of Apple.
In another step to taking over the world, the iPhone company is stepping into Hollywood as it plan to create its own TV shows.
So advanced is the scheme, according to Variety, Apple even attempted to win a bidding war for Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May – only to be outbid by Amazon who secured the deal in July with a whopping £160m for the three former BBC stars.
It’s reported Apple’s top order have met with several media executives with a view to creating original content, with the move for Clarkson and co. suggesting a creative level beyond investment.
Apple moved on from selling music and books, and stepped into production with the recent launch of their international radio station, Beats 1…which, by all accounts, is flying.
