Nottingham Forest supporter Reiss Stenson was feeling confident ahead of his club’s Championship match against Cardiff City.
In fact, he was so confident that he sent a photo of himself to the Bluebirds’ Twitter account, standing outside the Cardiff City stadium with a big grin on his face.

Stenson left himself plenty of time to make the 160-mile trip, and got to the Welsh capital so early that there was barely another soul outside the ground.
What he hadn’t realised, though, is that it would have been just as empty at 3:00 – because Forest were playing at home.
And to make matters even worse, they slipped to a 2-1 home defeat.

Hopefully he won’t head to the City Ground for the return fixture.
