You may have heard that the fourth, unaired episode of Game of Thrones had been leaked online early on Friday.
But that’s not the only news about the episode we’ve received today. It’s been revealed that of the entire Game of Thrones series, ‘The Spoils of War’ is shortest of all in the seven seasons so far.
The episode clocks in at 50 minutes, much shorter than the hour long that the three episodes of the series have been so far.
But there’s no need to think that you’re getting cheated out of Game of Thrones action, because the next episode of the season will be back up to 59 minutes.
And in even better news, the last episode of season 7 will be a whopping 90 minutes long. That’s basically a movie.
The previous longest episode prior to this season was the final episode of season 6, ‘The Winds of Winter’ which ran for a total of 69 minutes.
If you scroll through social media, it’s clear that many people are being impatient and are refusing to wait until Monday to watch the latest episode of Game of Thrones.
