A few days ago we shared a touching picture of young Aston Villa fan Tom Griffiths absolutely engrossed in a game of football.
As his father Richard explained, 7-year-old Tom is currently battling with the effects of leukaemia, and watching his beloved Villa play helps him forget his condition for a while and enjoy his sporting obsession.

The image went viral, and another Villa fan Thomas Curran got in touch with Villa’s £9m man Jordan Amavi to see if he could do anything for the ardent young supporter.
The fullback not only replied, but offered to send Tom his shirt by way of a small gesture for his brave support…
