It is difficult to do this and still feel like you look even remotely cool…
But then this is the guy who had a pin-stripe suit made with the words “Fuck You” written all over it, and against our better judgement, it actually was pretty cool, so here we are.
In typical Conor McGregor fashion, his approach to something as simple as a quick warm-up has to be flashy and attention grabbing and completely unlike anyone else, and to that end, we got this:
We feel if this were pretty much anyone else, that would be a weird little one off video and that would be the end of it.
But because it’s McGregor, and pretty much everything he says or does is liable to get traction, it was soon picked up elsewhere, and the first stop towards virality (or whatever you call the spreading of a meme) was with WBO, WBC and Ring welterweight champ Terence Crawford who challenged all other boxers to take part in the McGregor Challenge.
And from there, the hashtag was born…
It has already proved so popular that it has inspire off-shoots, like this artistic variation…
