Germany looked back to their imperious best against Poland.
The World Cup champions were on the end of a surprise 2-1 defeat to USA in June (albeit in a friendly).
They’ve since spanked Gibraltar 7-0, but they looked frighteningly good against the Poles, finishing 3-1 winners.
Two early strikes put paid to any aspirations Poland had of causing an upset.
First up, Thomas Muller’s bit of movement in the box is a pundit’s dream as he draws two defenders and goes through them before he taps in the opener as he so inevitably does.
Then, Mario Gotze did this…
That was before Lewandowski powered a header that Gareth Bale would’ve been proud of to make it 2-1.
