If you were on the fence about seeing the new Conor McGregor movie, this trailer might just change your mind.
Considering how prominent Conor McGregor is in the global media, one would be forgiven for thinking that the world doesn’t really need a cinematic release about the UFC superstar right now.
We’ve seen the documentaries, we’ve read the interviews, we’ve heard all the press conference soundbites, we’ve watched the promos, we’ve played his character in video games, his coach has a book, he has his own website and worst of all, that shower from SportsJOE won’t bloody stop writing about him. So why on Earth would we need a movie?
As much coverage as McGregor receives, his handling of the media is undoubtedly exceptional. Just when you think people are getting fed up with seeing him, he manages to convince over 4 million of them to part with their hard-earned cash just to watch him box for the first time.
So it shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone that the trailer for his movie set to be released worldwide in November is actually pretty good. What really impressed us was the fact that it ticked a very necessary box of showing us never before seen footage.
