“How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks?”
The last time David Fincher worked with Netflix, he gave us House Of Cards.
The last time David Fincher worked with serial killers, he gave us Gone Girl. And before that he gave us Se7en, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and, of course, the modern classic Zodiac.
Now Fincher is giving us serial killers on Netflix, so even from an un-biased perspective (which we don’t possess for Fincher), this will likely be one of the best TV shows of the year.
Mindhunter is a new ten-part series that is based on the true story of two FBI agents who happen to end up creating the terminology of “serial killers” back in the 1970’s, off the back of interviewing murderers that the system at the time had no way of correctly categorising.
We’ve seen some of the episodes already (check back in tomorrow for our full thoughts on them), but for now you can check out the brand new, and final, trailer for the show.
All ten episodes of Mindhunter will be available to watch on Netflix from Friday 13 October.
