“It’s time for the Jedi to end…”
Plot’s it all about? Can we safely assume that you were one of the $2 billion plus worth of ticket buyers that went to see The Force Awakens? Great, because otherwise… what are you even doing here?
Things are picking up exactly from the end of point of that movie, with Rey (Daisy Ridley) having found Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), potentially the final Jedi in existence, and hoping to train under him in order to properly fight against the evil Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), General Hux (Domhnall Gleeson), Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) and the rest of the Space Nazis… sorry, the First Order.
Meanwhile, we left Finn (John Boyega) in a coma and Poe (Oscar Isaac) rounding up the troops and generally being this generation’s answer to Han Solo, and we get new cast additions such as Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern and even a rumoured appeared by both Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon Levitt.
Listen, the movie’s writer and director Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper) has publicly stated that he doesn’t think it to be a super idea that you watch this trailer, and that you should just head into The Last Jedi pure of spoilers, which is kind of why we’re being purposefully vague here.
We totally understand why you’d want to watch it though, which is also why we’re writing about it. The dilemma of being a Star Wars fan is that you want to have your cantena cake and eat it, too…
