Liam Gallagher’s hilarious take on Brexit makes more sense than a million politicians combined

Paul Moore

Our kid wants “good people to move and groove wherever they want.” Classic.

At such uncertain times, the world needs rock stars.

Yes, they’re not going to impact your life in any meaningful way. They’re not going to put some extra money in your bank account, help you with your work, take care of your kids or clean your car, but Christ almighty, they’re entertaining – none more so than Liam Gallagher.

Over the course of his career, the former Oasis frontman has been more than happy to speak his mind about anything and anyone, but with his debut album to promote, the singer has been on a charm offensive for the last few weeks.

Aside from openly talking about doing cocaine before Graham Norton, changing his mind about James Corden, the hilarious moment when he met Paul McCartney or his amazing opinions about making tea, the singer is bloody entertaining.

Hell, at this rate, he could just keep doing interviews like this one with NME and we would be happy.

Lucky for his fans that his new album, As You Were, is earning some excellent reviews and it’s set to top the charts.

Well, if Gallagher ever gets tired of music and fancies a career in politics, we reckon that he could get into office with this foreign policy alone.

Truth be told, his views on Brexit make more sense than anything you’re likely to read.

For what it’s worth, this is brilliant.
