Eaten in any of these?
Given that TripAdvisor’s restaurant awards are based on customer ratings, it’s fair to state that the quality in this particular list is of the highest standard and on that note, TripAdvisor’s number one restaurant in the world is The Black Swan at Oldstead in north Yorkshire.
Owned and run by The Banks Family, the restaurant is the only one in Yorkshire and the North East to hold a Michelin Star and 4 AA Rosettes. In fact, Tommy and James Banks took it over at the ages of 17 and 19. Tommy Banks has been Britain’s youngest Michelin-Starred chef for two years now and The Black Swan has been described as “traditional Yorkshire with a swirling mix of creativity and eccentricity.”
Elsewhere, Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Great Milton, Oxford has also added to its list of prestigious titles with a place in the top 10 – it also recently won the accolade of Britain’s best hotel.
Established by celebrated chef Raymond Blanc, the menu in two Michelin-starred restaurant “celebrates some 90 different herbs and vegetables from the two-acre kitchen garden”
The final restaurant that met the highest standards of the TripAdvisor reviewers is The Fat Duck.
The Heston Blumenthal-owned restaurant has previously been awarded three Michelin stars and it also received the prestigious accolades of being crowned Best Restaurant in the World and Best Restaurant in the UK.
