That's absolutely disgusting

Tottenham Hotspur are in the midst of an investigation to find a supporter who seemingly threw a plastic glass containing urine into a crowd of people at Wembley on Wednesday night.

West Ham beat Spurs in a 3-2 thriller in their Carabao Cup round of 16 clash this week but the game was somewhat marred by a disgusting video which did the rounds on social media.

The below clip, which we considered leaving out due to its disgusting nature but included in the hope that it might aid in the identification of the individuals involved, apparently shows one supporter urinating into an empty plastic pint glass before hurling it into a different section of the ground.

The club have said that they are aware of the incident in question and are currently looking into it.

“This behaviour is completely unacceptable,” a Spurs spokesperson said.

“We are currently investigating and working to identify the individual.”

According to Sky Sports, eight arrests were made in total at the game but none were in relation to the above incident.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of the possession of a class A drug, two were arrested on suspicion of assault and the remaining four were arrested on suspicions of crimes such as assault on a police officer, drunk and disorderly conduct, violent disorder and affray.
