Another key Liverpool player has suffered an injury.
Jurgen Klopp is already without Sadio Mane for another month or so, after the Senegalese winger picked up a hamstring injury. Adam Lallana has yet to play this season because of a thigh injury and Nathaniel Clyne has been out of action for months with a back injury. Liverpool can now add Philippe Coutinho to the injury list, although he’s unlikely to be a long-term absentee.
Coutinho injured. Out of Huddersfield game. Struggling to be fit for Maribor/West Ham.

Coutinho suffered an abductor strain which could also rule him out of the UCL tie vs Maribor and next weekend's PL clash with West Ham. #LFC

The Brazilian midfielder will miss Liverpool’s match with Huddersfield Town at Anfield on Saturday. Coutinho is also a doubt for the match against Maribor in the Champions League in mid-week, and may not be available for the trip to play West Ham next Saturday.
The news is the latest setback for Klopp as his team try to turn around their patchy form over the last month. Liverpool lost to Spurs 4-1 at Wembley last week, and are currently sitting in ninth place in the Premier League, 12 points behind leaders Manchester City.
The injury to Coutinho may be only short-term, but it left Liverpool fans cursing their luck.

Clyne, Lallana, Coutinho and Mané injured. Joke of a defence, average goalkeeper and midfield. At least the net spend was small though. 👍🏼

Liverpool's current injury list:
Clyne ❌
Lallana ❌
Mané ❌
Coutinho ❌
Ward ❌4 of them are very important players. Far from ideal.

Coutinho injured for our game this Saturday. Can our season go any worse? I’m actually fuming.
