Metal titans Metallica are in the country at the moment on the UK leg of their WorldWired Tour.
The band stopped off in Manchester on Saturday night to deliver a blistering set bursting with classics and new cuts off their most recent album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.
But one moment stood out from the rest of the set as particularly special. Guitarist Kirk Hammett and bass player Robert Trujillo led the Manchester crowd in a rendition of the Oasis classic ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.
Check out the footage below, as captured by drummer Lars Ulrich.

Manchester Arena reopened recently, following the terror attack that claimed the lives of 22 people who were attending a concert by Ariana Grande. Since the attack, ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ has become an anthem of resilience for the people of Manchester.
Commenting on the uploaded video, Ulrich said, “What a moment!! Goosebumps..” For anyone in attendance that night, they’ll find it hard to disagree.
