Jakson Follmann has shown incredible courage.
Late last year, the football world was horrified to hear about LaMia Flight 2933. The charter plane crashed in Columbia, in November, with Brazilian side Chapecoense on-board, who flying to play the first leg of the 2016 Copa Sudamericana Finals. 71 people were killed, with nearly the entire Chapecoense first team squad perishing.
Only three Chapecoense players survived – including goalkeeper Jakson Follmann, who had his right leg amputated following the crash. Yet despite having to retire from football, on Thursday Chapecoense tweeted a photo of Follmann returning to training with the ball, with a prosthetic.
