Since being released, Weiner has established itself as one of the most critically-acclaimed documentaries in recent memory – it currently has a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 84% on Metacritic. It was also nominated for a BAFTA Film Award and won the Critics Choice Documentary Award.
