Jack Maynard’s time on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is over.
News that the DJ and YouTuber had been removed was confirmed by hosts Ant and Dec during Tuesday night’s show who explained he “had to withdraw due to circumstances outside of the show’s control”.
A report from the Mirror says that it is believed ITV took the decision to remove him from the new series of the show, which only began at the weekend, amidst rumours about his behaviour before he signed up to appear on it.
The report also points to stories which have surfaced about the 22-year-old in recent days regarding homophobic and racist comments he had made in the past.
One of his representatives had confirmed before his appearance on the show that he deeply regretted the comments, many of which appeared in tweets which have all since been deleted.
