I’m A Celebrity‘s Rebekah Vardy has had to pull out of tonight’s Bushtucker trial.
She and Stanley were chosen by the public to take part in the ‘Fear Factory’ trial to win meals for camp but news has come from Australia today that medics wouldn’t let her do it as she wasn’t well enough.
After days of eating rice and beans she became dizzy and lightheaded, prompting Medic Bob to pull the plug.
She’s said to be “furious” at being removed from the trial.
“Becky felt a bit woozy, but felt she was perfectly capable of carrying on,” a show source told the Sun.
A spokesperson for Becky said she was “very disappointed”.
“She’s giving it her all on the show and felt she was letting her campmates down.
“She’s tough and wouldn’t want to be removed over feeling light headed.
“She’s loving every minute and wants to keep pushing herself.”
We don’t yet now whether the trial went ahead without her.
Becky has previously been ruled out of a number of the show’s trials on medical grounds.
Her friend Nicola McLean revealed that Becky has a shellfish allergy and that the producers didn’t want to take any risks.
“Obviously they are conscious of campmates’ health, so they allergy test you and I know she has come back allergic to shellfish, so they won’t let her do any fish-based activity.
“It’s such a shame as she would have been brilliant at it. I know swimming with fish won’t kill her but it’s all health and safety first.”
