Not a problem we’ve really worried about tbh.
You might have had fond memories memories of, as a kid, turning up early to the stadium, waiting for the players to enter the stadium, and hoping to get your favourites to sign your autograph book.
It still happens today, but of course this is 2017 so you want to get a photo or video on your phone. And there’s nothing wrong with that, but it might leave you in a bit of difficulty is you needed to do something that required two hand. Like, maybe clapping?
Luckily, Manchester City have some advice for their fans:
Quite the suggestion from City today: any fans filming the players getting off the bus are being encouraged to clap by using their spare hand, and the spare hand of the person next to them. Honestly

Yes, if you have only one hand free, and so does the person next to you, and you are both desperate to applaud Nicolás Otamendi, just slap your hand against the palm of your neighbour. Makes perfect sense, right?
The suggestion has gone down well.

But couldn’t they just take Bart Simpson’s lead, and clap with one hand?
