Mike Perry is an interesting chap.
Having belted out an X-rated rendition of a Christmas classic whilst cutting weight in his portable sauna, Perry carried his unique behaviour on to the stage for the ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday night.
After he came in on the nose at 170lbs, Perry faced off with opponent Santiago Ponzinibbio for an intense staredown on the eve of their welterweight clash at UFC Winnipeg.
Someone is going to sleep tomorrow night. 👊

As the pair exchanged heated words, Perry leaned in and repeatedly sniffed the Argentine. And if you were curious what ‘Platinum’ was sniffing for, he explained why he did what he did on the FOX Sports 1 weigh-in show.
“Little bit of estrogen,” Perry said.
“I smelled some puppy chow. I was getting hungry.”
Perry wasted no time in making a name for himself in the UFC’s 170lbs division, claiming four knockouts in his five Octagon outings since making his debut last year.
A victory over Ponzinibbio on Saturday night would see him rewarded with a top-15 ranking at welterweight and a potential showdown with Liverpool’s emerging star, Darren Till, at some point in 2018.
“I’m a mixed martial artist. I am very well-rounded. I am a complete and total fighter,” Perry said. “I will show that tomorrow.”
