The Merc with a Mouth is back!
There’s good and bad news from Disney Fox with rescheduled dates for three of their upcoming stand-alone movies that are based on Marvel’s X-Men franchise.
To begin with, Gore Verbinksi (Pirates of the Carribean) has dropped out of directing Gambit, the Channing Tatum-starring flick. No new director is set yet, and now it moves off its February 14, 2019 release date to June 7, 2019.
With regards to The New Mutants – the horror spin-off that features Anna Taylor-Joy and Maisie Williams – there’s some bad news. The horror was originally intended to be released on April 13 but it has been pushed back to February 22, 2019.
Yep, this most recent promo0 for that film seems pretty ironic.

Don’t worry though because there’s some good news on the Deadpool front.
The Merc with a Mouth is back and this time he’ll be arriving a few weeks earlier than expected. The highly anticipated sequel was originally intended to be released on June 1, 2018 but it’s going to be unleashed on May 18.
Josh Brolin (Cable), Zazie Beetz (Domino) are there for the ride along with his old gang of Morena Baccarin (Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) and Karan Soni (Dopinder).
With John Wick co-director David Leitch taking over the director’s chair on the sequel, we’re expecting the body count to rise.
We can’t wait!
