We’ve seen this before.
Gareth Bale marked his return to the Real Madrid side today with two excellent goals, the first of which you could classify as a ‘worldy’.
Bale was obviously pleased and relieved to score, as it helped Madrid secure a much needed victory after a poor run of form.
Cristiano Ronaldo though, wasn’t as happy to see the ball fly in as he lay on the ground, furious that he had not been awarded a penalty as he tangled legs with a Deportivo defender.
Watch his reaction as the ball goes in and Bale runs off celebrating.

Ronaldo’s individualistic attitude, his determination to become the most prolific player he can be is what has made him Real Madrid’s all-time record goalscorer.
But there is a fine line between always wanting to score and being so selfish that you do not celebrate your teammates’ goals. Sadly, that is a line that Ronaldo too frequently crosses.
He will have felt frustrated given that he hadn’t scored a league goal since early December, but surely going 2-1 up is reason enough to celebrate after Madrid’s recent run of poor form.
The last time Los Blancos won a league game was also 9th December, when Madrid hit Sevilla for 5. Since then they have dropped points sloppily against Villarreal, Barcelona and Celta Vigo. At least Ronaldo got one of their 7 goals today.
