Three teenagers are dead after car collides into them at a London bus stop

Police are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward after three teenage male pedestrians were killed in a road traffic collision in Hayes, London.

Police were called at 20:41hrs to Shepiston Lane, Hayes, on the M4 Junction 4, following reports of a serious road traffic collision.

Officers and London Ambulance Service colleagues attended the scene. Despite their best efforts, the three teenagers all died.

As stated by the Metropolitan Police, the group of teenagers were standing near a bus stop when a black Audi collided with them.  The victims are all believed to be teenage males, aged approximately 16. The other teenagers that were present at the time were not injured.

A 28-year-old male who was inside the vehicle was arrested and then taken to a west London hospital for treatment. He will be taken into custody once he is discharged.

At this early stage, enquires are ongoing as the police look to establish exactly what happened and whether there were any other occupants of the vehicle.

Detective Sergeant Jane Shaw, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “These are horrific circumstances that have resulted in three young people losing their lives; I need anyone who saw what happened to contact police immediately.”
