JOE PREMIERE: Youngr releases “Remember” music video

JOE PREMIERE!

One man band Youngr is back with a brand new video and we’re exclusively premiering it.

Adding to his extensive catalogue of re-works, rising star Youngr shows no signs of slowing down with the release of “Remember”.

Adding a unique twist to the Michael McDonald original “I Keep Forgetting”, which became a globally recognised song when it was sampled by Warren G and Nate Dogg on their 90’s defining song “Regulate”, Youngr keeps the party going with his upbeat take that is 100% made for the dance floor.

“This was one of my mum’s favourite songs when I was growing up,” Youngr explains. “She used to play it around the house all the time. I also love ‘Regulate’ by Warren G. Me and my buddy Mike Halls wanted to put a new spin on the lyrics but still use the hook and honour the original, because the original is a fucking tune!”

Today debuting the visuals that accompany his latest creation, the music video for “Remember” is a clever sweeping one shot-esque offering that sees Youngr doing what he does best: effortlessly playing multiple instruments and looking fucking cool in the process, while a couple (or so we’re led to believe until the twist) dance their way around the talented beatsmith.

2018 is already set to be another step up for the multi-talented musician, songwriter and producer, having just completed a mammoth U.S. and Canadian tour, which included key support slots with tropical house commander Matoma. He also released This Is Not An Album, a collection of Youngr’s releases to date, including the likes of goliath hit “Out Of My System”, “93” and “Give It Up”.

This builds on a year that saw Youngr release a string of triumphant singles and bootlegs, including his viral take on Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” (surpassing 45 million views) and the incredible “Monsters” video (a collaboration with award-winning Valentine Reinhardt – Tame Impala, Nike – and Manu Cossu – Drake, A$AP Rocky).

And did we forget to mention that he also made JOE’s 2018 Ones To Watch list? Selected as part of the best of the best as far as artists go for the upcoming year, we’re excited to see what he has in store, and the release of this new video is just the beginning.
