Fans think Davina McCall is being lined up to replace Ant McPartlin after her appearance on Saturday Night Takeaway yesterday.
Davina appeared alongside Dec for a segment called ‘This Time Next Takeaway’. The segment saw Declan surprise a woman named Diana with a load of treats from her family and it went down well with viewers.
Following the 50-year-old, former Big Brother presenter’s appearance, fans took to social media to voice their approval of her taking on a more long-term role on the show.
One fan tweeted: “It’s Davina and Decs #saturdaynighttakeaway by the look of things!’; ‘@antanddec @ThisisDavina Dec and Davina I’m in tears’; ‘Ah yes, I love that show called Davina and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’; ‘#SaturdayNightTakeaway so its Dec and Davina (oh Ant).”
Another added: “Great show Dec! Of course Ant was missed and wish him well soon… but you done great… perhaps @ThisisDavina could stand in, it could be Dav & Dec #dav&dec.”
The speculation comes after Dec Donnelly posted a heartfelt message to fans after his first Saturday Night Takeaway show without long-term co-presenter Ant McPartlin.
