Go shorty, it’s your birthday.
This past February saw 50 Cent’s groundbreaking Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ album turn 15-years-old and the rapper has today announced that he’ll be performing a string of dates in the UK later this year to celebrate the landmark album.
Kicking off the tour September 18th in Birmingham, the tour will then visit London September 20th and conclude in Manchester September 21st.
While we’re not exactly sure if the rest of his G-Unit soldiers will join him – last time 50 played the UK Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck all came with him – what we do know is that it will be one hell of a show.
Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ was released February 6th 2003 and went straight to the top of the charts selling over 872,000 copies in its first week. They hype was real. It spawned the hits “In Da Club”, “21 Questions” and “P.I.M.P” and laid the foundation for 50 Cent to have a mammoth career in music, film and TV, amongst other things.
