Roll up, roll up. Welcome to ITV’s sun-soaked circus of banality and voyeurism.

According to transfer window rumours, Love Island has signed a hot prospect. What’s more, this latest addition stars in the Real Housewives of Cheshire.

This is she.

Taylor Ward is the daughter of Dawn Ward, staple of the ITVBe show for seven seasons, and has impressed show bosses who think she is the “perfect islander,” thanks to a burgeoning Instagram following and experience with reality TV.

A source told The Sun: “Bosses really enjoyed meeting Taylor; she’s confident and definitely has all the qualities of a perfect islander.

“She understands the world of reality TV already with her mum being one of the starts of the Real Housewives of Cheshire but she’s still a normal girl who’s looking for love.

“The show has been auditioning hundreds of possible contestants from all around the UK and they’re yet to make a decision on who will make the final line-up.

“Taylor is one of many to make the shortlist but is keeping her fingers crossed she makes it on the programme.”

The transfer rumour comes after it was announced that this season of Love Island will be the longest ever.

Radio Times is reporting that the show will run for an incredible eight weeks this year – that’s seven days longer that last year, and a whole fortnight longer than the first two series.

They also say there will be “no drastic changes” to the design of the iconic villa, but it will get a bit of touch up.

Contestants are also to be given new “sex rules” ahead of entering the villa.

This summer Islanders will no longer be able to be totally naked, have sex with anyone who is drunk, or masturbate.

They will also be provided with a handbook about consent prior to their entrance to the villa.

The Mirror reports that the ground rules will be introduced ahead of this summer’s instalment of the reality TV show.

As well as bans on certain types of activities and more information on contraceptives, contestants will also be offered a post-sex counselling session if they want one.

This session will provide the contestant with information on the morning after pill and advice from a trained counsellor.
