’80s and ’90s kids will definitely remember this
We’re certain that kids of the ’80s and early ’90s will remember M.A.S.K. but we’re confident in saying that not even the biggest cartoon lovers can remember what those letters stand for.
Anyone? Any guesses?
Well, we’ve extremely nostalgic memories of watching the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand unit with transforming vehicles engaging in an ongoing battle against the criminal organization V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network Of Mayhem – hell, with a name like that, what else are they going to be?).
Of course, there was an emphasis on the super-powered masks that were worn by the characters on the show.
As for V.E.N.O.M.’s primary goal, they were usually involved in robberies, extortion, counterfeiting, kidnapping and stealing historical treasures. The rascals.
Anyway,  F. Gary Gray ( The Fate of the Furious, Straight Outta Compton and the upcoming Men in Black reboot) is attached to direct the M.A.S.K film and while we’re wary that it could go the way of G.I. Joe and countless Transformers films, we’ve got high hopes after seeing Gray’s name attached.
Does anyone else want the Boulder Hill toy that looked insanely cool?
Anyway, wouldn’t it be rude not to listen to the old theme song?
