One man has died and another has been injured in a shooting in north-west London on Tuesday night, Scotland Yard has said.
The incident took place outside Queensbury Tube station shortly after 9pm on Tuesday and one man, believed to be in his 30s, died at the scene.
The death is being investigated as murder by police.
The other man, understood to be in his 20s, suffered a gunshot wound but remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Armed police were called to the incident just after 9pm and arrived at Cumberland Road in Edgware, where the attacks are said to have taken place, and a crime scene remains in place.
No arrests have yet been made.
DI Justin Howick said: “I would like to appeal to anyone with information to contact police at the earliest opportunity. Detectives are busy at the scene and working to build a clear picture of the circumstances of this fatal attack.”
