Ok, who’s going?
With Avengers: Infinity War breaking box office records all over the galaxy, it’s only fitting that everyone’s favourite ‘bunch of A-holes’ are rightfully acknowledged for their brilliance.
Since debuting in 2014, Guardians of the Galaxy has become the jewel in the MCU crown as James Gunn’s wonderful mix of action, comedy and surreal characters have really resonated with audiences.
Hell, they even manage to steal the best scenes in Infinity War – “more power rabbit!,”Drax standing there being a weirdo while pretending to be invisible and the whole Star-Lord/Thor ‘bro-off’ are the best examples.
Well, I am Groot because a Guardians of the Galaxy-themed rollercoaster is opening and your future holiday plans might just change.
As stated in their official press release: “960 trucks’ worth of concrete was poured to create the foundation of what will soon take shape as Epcot’s mammoth “Guardians of the Galaxy”-themed attraction. The attraction is on track to become one of the world’s longest enclosed coasters, and to house it, a new facility is being built adjacent to the existing Universe of Energy building.”
The attraction is currently set to debut at Epcot, Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida just in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
We’re 100% there but we’ve one wish.
Please let their be music on this rollercoaster. Imagine flying through the sky with this blasting?
