Frank Lampard is no stranger to breaking records.
He became Chelsea’s all-time top goalscorer from midfield during his time at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard is even in the Guinness World Record Book for scoring against the most Premier League teams – 39 in total if you’re asking, including that one against Chelsea for Manchester City.
Now he’s wasted no time setting another record at his new club New York City FC.
The England legend found the net against DC United after just 45 seconds – the fastest ever goal scored in New York City’s history.
He coolly slotted home after David Villa’s shot was saved, but it was not enough to stop his side slumping to a 2-1 MLS defeat.
That’ three goals in four games for Lampard and yet another record in the bag.
