The residents of Portstewart in County Derry will probably have never expected to see this.
A 43ft (13m) fin whale washed up on their shores, and the animal was so big that it required three diggers to be removed.
The Department of the Environment, the coastguard and the National Trust have been busy clearing the remains of the poor mammal up off the shore, and you can see why it required such a huge effort.
