Jon Heywood became a overnight multimillionaire after a 25p bet turned into a staggering £13.2m.
The British soldier placed the 25p bet in an online slot machine and now intends to use his winnings to help his father receive the “best possible treatment” as he awaits a heart and lung transplant.
The 26-year-old’s win also means he now holds the record for the largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game – eclipsing the previous winner by around £100,000.

According to a report by ITV news, he now intends to upgrade his Fiat Punto to a brand new Bentley Continental GT.
“It’s amazing. The first thing I will spend it on is the best possible medical treatment for my dad. That’s more important than anything,” Jon said.
Having won the prize on Betway.com while playing Microgaming’s Mega Moolah game late on October 6, Jon kept quiet about his success – even going into work the next day.
