It’s Millie Bobby Brown’s feature film debut
The first trailer for Godzilla: King of Monsters has been posted online ahead of San Diego Comic-Con.
The teaser shows Millie Bobby Brown trying to contact the monster-investigating unit, Monarch, introduced in the first Godzilla and also referenced in last year’s Kong: Skull Island.
The movie is being directed by Michael Dougherty and stars Vera Farmiga, Ken Watanabe, Sally Hawkins, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, and Zhang Ziyi.
The film’s director previously told EW that the sequel will be a reaction to the events of 2014’s Godzilla. Dougherty said: “The world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting, but there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind.”
The film is due for release in cinemas in May 2019. Watch the trailer here:

The release of the teaser comes just days after the trailer release for season three of the show that made Millie famous, Stranger Things, just like the upcoming Godzilla it is due out next year.
