From the man who brought you Supersonic.
20 years of Coldplay will be comprehensively explored by Mat Whitecross, director of acclaimed 2016 Oasis documentary Supersonic, in a new film set to hit screens in November.
A Head Full Of Dreams drops exclusively on Amazon Prime Video following a one-night-only theatrical release that will see the doc receive a special screening in more than 2,000 cinemas worldwide on Wednesday 14 November.
Tickets for the screenings go on sale next Friday, October 19 from coldplay.film.
Amazon Prime Video, meanwhile, will have A Head Full Of Dreams available for streaming from Friday 16 November.
The documentary will offer fans “an in-depth and intimate portrait of the band’s spectacular rise from the backrooms of Camden pubs to selling out stadiums across the planet”.
In line with Supersonic, A Head Full Of Dreams boasts archive footage from the earliest Coldplay days, as Whitecross was on hand to capture every last detail.
Much of the filming took place during Coldplay’s record-breaking A Head Full Of Dreams Tour, which was certified as the third biggest tour of all time, playing to more than 5.5 million fans across the world.
