This doesn’t happen every day
Personally, I struggle with the gym. I’ve been meaning to join a new one for about a month now, but work, and life, and hangovers, keep getting in the way.
However, if I knew there was a chance – even just a tiny chance – of The Rock turning up to train with me, I would be there every single bloody day.
And now, I think that could happen.
Dwayne Johnson is currently in the UK, filming the Fast & Furious spin-off with Jason Statham, in Yorkshire. Even when he’s on work trips, The Rock doesn’t let his work out regime slide. So the wrestler-turned-actor popped into the Global Fitness Gym in Doncaster, unannounced.
And because he’s a nice guy he posed for photos with the owners.
Imagine working out in a gym in Doncaster, turning around and seeing The Rock.
Yep.

The owners said that he sent a scout ahead to check the place out, but did not tell them who was coming.
“A guy came in and asked if he could take a few pictures because someone famous was coming into the area,” boss Craie Carrera told BBC News.
“He just wanted some pictures of the gym so his client could see if it was up to par and wanted to see what the weight stacks were like and the dumbbells, if they were heavy enough.
“We thought it was a bit strange but left him to it.”
"He's got fairly big arms."
It was just another day in this Doncaster gym… until The Rock showed up!

Carrera also confirmed what we all want to hear – that The Rock is a nice dude in person.
“He was very talkative, a nice guy, really genuine, just like an everyday person.
“I said as long as he puts his weights away, then it doesn’t matter who it is.”
Dwayne Johnson stars alongside Jason Statham in Hobbs & Shaw, with Idris Elba playing the villain.
